[Weird] Royal Navy
I like British humor, read in the guardian:
It was reported gravely by the papers that carried the story, the Royal Navy would, for the first time in 300 years, have fewer surface ships than the French navy.(...) we still have more submarines than they do, so war with France remains an option, should a future Tory administration deem this appropriate.
It is not a comical paper at all in fact. It is just about the diminution of the number of ships in the UK...the British have been in retreat from the sea for generations.
[Weird] Mobog comments are amazing
Mobog display pictures sent by user of your camera-phone. What is great here, IMO, is not the variety of shitty picture, but rather the amazing comments made by viewers:
- nice tits...better than janet jackson
- go get the mailman!!!
- You could spear fish what that nose!!!
- steroids...no doubt
- I think this is one of the best non-chick pics I have seen on this site
- Now we know where that monster gets parked.
- AUTO-DETECT HAS DETECTED A VIRUS AT: http://www.smpsi.com/ TO AVOID A VIRUS, REFRAIN FROM VISITING THE LISTED URL.
- Requires olive oil to get into that outfit.
There is spam, anger, lust, critics...

[Weird] Saddam Hole
I was amazed by all the picture depicting, describing, analyzing Saddam Hussein's hole in Tikrit. One of the most well documented is the one from the BBC:
[Weird] Prefab Life
People into prefab should look at fabprefab (no connection with fab though). I like the statement "Modernist prefab is still more of a meme than a marketplace" but it appears to be interesting and innovative to live in a prefab.
prefab = prefabricated This term is wide open to interpretation. prefab home = "kit home" = "panelized home" = "pre-cut home" = on-site assembly from prefab components. The components are either generally available when the structure is designed or they are created specifically for the project (i.e. designed for reproduction)

If, like me, you are into weird stuff, you should have a glance at strange attractor, a very nice magazines about topics as smart as: Forgotten Musical Technologies/Conspiracy Culture/Underground Installations/Eastern Vortex/Megalithomania. trange Attractor celebrates unpopular culture. For instance:

by Drew Mulholland
- The Craft of Ladies' Hairdressing Rediscovered by Xtina Lamb
- Mind the Zap: Mind Control at Greenham Common? Helen John interviewed by John Lundberg

[Weird] Bad Photography
Things magazine claims that since lots of people have digital camera, there's more 'bad' photography. I do agree but I like it. Bad Photography is a form of art as product imitation ('ersatz' in french) are often better or much more creative than the original one (I definitely like cereal box toys from poor companies, that would like to imitate Nestlé or Kellogs). Examples:
