I like British humor, read in the guardian:

It was reported gravely by the papers that carried the story, the Royal Navy would, for the first time in 300 years, have fewer surface ships than the French navy.(...) we still have more submarines than they do, so war with France remains an option, should a future Tory administration deem this appropriate.

It is not a comical paper at all in fact. It is just about the diminution of the number of ships in the UK...the British have been in retreat from the sea for generations.
