SuperCon: a Superman Convention: Every summer Metropolis, IL holds their annual Superman Festival. Celebrity guests show up, sign autographs and pose for photos, fan events are held, super-hero-themed vehicles are on display, the Superman Museum is open to visit... and there's always a few people dressed as the Man of Steel himself. These enigmatic men are the stuff of legend, referred to affectionately as the "Super-Dudes."
